Would you rather: the dress version
We asked McAndrews a series of would-you-rather questions to reveal her top dress choices.
Mini dress or maxi dress?
“The last few years have been all about skin. For me, I think it’s sexy and sensual, but I’m really about the structure and architecture of fashion and really expressing an idea with your clothes and expressions. Wearing see-through and showing skin is also an expression, but I feel like I’ve seen a lot of that and I really just want to see people come out and explore wearing things,” McAndrews said. This extra-long dress is an easy way to look and stay warm this fall and winter.
Jumpsuits or jumpsuits?
Jumpsuit styles are versatile and suitable for all occasions. “I like a jumpsuit with a little cargo vibe and a little drop crotch …… I like ones with a low back and a high neck or flared pants,” explains McAndrews. She recommends ALC for great jumpsuits for day and evening wear.
Floral dress or black dress?
You’d rather question the toughest – the battle between femininity and neutral tones. “Depends on the date, right? I love wearing black because it’s so easy to accessorize, but I do have a fondness for the floral side because it can be worn in so many ways,” explains McAndrews. Layering is the key to wearing floral dresses in fall and winter. “I’d love to pair it with a long cardigan or double-breasted winter coat and a brimless penny hat in the winter,” McAndrews said. She also suggests pairing floral dresses with leggings or tights and boots.
